Effects of time on long-term memory storage
Sometimes we forget things because of failure of our memory storage system. Many things can cause this such as if you are unable to retrieve memories form your memory system. Such diseases that cause these is alzheimers or dementia. Alzheimers is a disease that involves loss of memory and personality changes. Dimentia is a group of diseases that attack the brain they cause you to be unable to recall simple implicit tasks, it may also cause personality changes. Memories also may decay according to Ebbinghaus who came up with the theory that over time memories decay if you do not use or review certain memories.
